There are some more specific focus areas that include the commonly affecting diseases and conditions like – Birth control, STI, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, menopause, HRT, osteoporosis, pregnancy, child birth, heart diseases etc. It also includes many preventive measures like – pap smear, bone density testing, regular gynecological exams, screening for breast cancer, immunization of various diseases, screening for sexually transmitted infection, hormonal testing etc.
One of the major concerns of women’s health is breast care services. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the number two on the most common form of cancer list.
